COVID-19 Announcement - Our Race is now a Virtual Run

May is Asian/Pacific Islanders celebration Month. Join us Virtual 5K run/ 1 mile walk. Engaging in regular physical activity is a great way to help manage stress and strengthen your immune system. In fact, research shows that "fit individuals" -- defined as those who partake in regular physical activity -- have a lower incidence of infection compared to inactive and sedentary individuals. What's more, being physically active may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases that could further weaken your immune system, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. 5K run or 1 mile walk is the start for your healthier life.

Your registration fee is helping our local community

Since March, we have been donating part of the race registration fee to support local COVID-19 relief efforts.

  • March - We donated $1300 to Knoxville Service Industry Relief Fund to help people who lost their jobs due to COVID-19
  • April - We used $650 to purchase goggles and donated to the Parkwest Medical Center, Tennova Medical Center, Dynamic Physical Therapy, and Blount Memorial Hospital
  • May is Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We will be using the funds to help support education programs by the Asian Culture Center of Tennessee
  • July - We will use the funds to help provide kids mask for who can not afford to buy for Knox County public school.
